Hello, belly? You might be noticing a little roundness in the stomach area… if it’s not your uterus, blame gas and bloat! Either way, you’ll soon see (much, much) more of that near future. Check out three more things to expect from your baby and your body in this eleventh week of pregnancy!

Alien No More
Now about two inches long and weighing in at 1/3rd of an ounce, your baby's been busying growing and developing into what is looking more and more like a human, hooray! Sure, his or her skin is see-through, and that tiny head is about as big as that tiny body. But with eyes, ears, nose, tongue, hands and legs all in place, with the webbing at the fingers and toes all gone, and with hair follicles beginning to form, looks like you have yourself a real little person there.

Can You Pass the Snacks?
As your pregnancy enters double-digit weeks (woot!), you might find yourself feeling a little more hungry if your nausea has subsided a little. If this is you, try to reach for healthy meals and snacks the majority of the time. Oreos and Lays aren't going to do much good for baby's brain development, you know? Then again, you might still be sick as a dog (we're sorry!); if that's the case you are undoubtedly looking forward to the second trimester, when most pregnant women feel pretty darn good.

Bloat on Board
It's possible that you have a slight belly, but you probably look more bloated that pregnant at this point. And you really might be feeling bloated, as well as gassy and burpy (joy!): the pregnancy hormone progesterone causes your muscles to relax, leading you to just let it all out a little too easily. Progesterone also slows digestion to give the body more time to absorb nutrients, which in turn can give you an uncomfortable feeling of fullness. Small, frequent meals, and avoiding gas-inducing foods like beans, soda, and greasy treats, are your best hope for better digestion during pregnancy.
