By month six, your little one is already halfway through the first year. By now, you've probably seen a lot of changes, and month six will be no different. Here are some things you should expect during this time:
By now, your baby should be double his or her birth weight. Because your little one's body is becoming stronger, he or she may be able to sit up alone. Your infant might even be able to roll over independently.
At this age, you should also start to feed your baby solid foods. Try integrating cereal or strained fruits or vegetables into your little one's diet. Just be sure to watch for any reactions, which could include a rash, diarrhea or vomiting. This could be a sign that your infant is allergic to a certain food. Be sure to consult a physician if you think your baby has any allergies.
