You may be experiencing a lot of new things during your newborn's first month. However, the second month is going to bring just as many exciting developments.
By month two, your little one is probably responding to human interaction more often than in the first month. You might notice his or her eyes widen in awe at everything. Your baby might even start to recognize you as a parent with a smile.
During this time, your newborn will also react to more stimuli in the world around him or her, including light, sound or touch. She or he might sleep a little less during the day in month two, while the duration of time spent sleeping at night should increase.
Your baby's second month will be similar to the first in many ways. However, there are small differences to look out for - you can watch the little one grow a bit more each day.
