When you're pregnant at 22 weeks, you're probably feeling pretty good. These are some of the things that are going on with your body and your baby.

Your Body at 22 Weeks Pregnant

At 22 weeks pregnant, you may find that you're becoming more forgetful. Some people dismiss what's known as pregnancy brain, but many women agree that they become more and more forgetful as their pregnancy progresses.

Bleeding or spotting can occur at any point in your pregnancy and while it's not always a cause for concern, you should call your doctor or midwife if you experience bleeding when you're pregnant at 22 weeks.

Your baby bump is probably above your belly button right now, but bellies can vary greatly depending on a woman's build.

Your Baby At 22 Weeks Pregnant

Your baby is now almost 11 inches long and can even hear you when you talk to him. Many parents love to talk to their babies and see if they can get a kick in response.

Babies have started swallowing amniotic fluid and the excess waste is now stored as meconium. If you don't know what meconium is, you will soon find out when you change your baby's first diapers—it's the greenish-black poop that newborns pass in their first days of life.
