Sagittarius children love to be on the move. They tend to be very restless and independent, and will grow up to be travel the world. For now, your little Sag will be off just as soon as his little legs figure out crawling, and even before that he'll be moving anytime he's not sleeping. Pre-walking, take your baby out frequently in the stroller and for trips in the car to feed his adventurous spirit. Once your child can toddle, you'll be chasing after him nonstop.

They Adore People (But Need Their Space)

Outgoing and full of energy accurately describes those born under this sign. Your little will thrive when surrounded by peers, who will love her feisty spirit and friendly, open charm. Sag babies don't like to be left alone for long and they love to hear familiar voices, which might even help them sleep better. But although they often wants to be with people, they don't enjoy being smothered with love and attention. As independent spirits, Sags like their space and freedom. Keep yours close, but not suffocatingly so.

Imagination Rules Their World

The Sagittarius child is blessed with an awesome imagination, capable of dreaming up amusing stories and prone to daydreams. Because of this, the line between fantasy and reality can sometimes become blurred for these kids. Your little one might have an imaginary friend, be prone to exaggeration, or insist that something he imagined is reality. Although this can be concerning when your child is a little older, it's important to allow him to indulge in his fantasy world.

They're Funny

From birth, these babies love to laugh and make others crack up. The sheer sound of his giggle will likely make you join in, it's so joyful. Your Sagittarius child will one day be the class clown, beloved by his peers for his great sense of humor (but not so much by his teachers.)

They Dislike Rules (But Need Them)

Those born under Sagittarius are often non-conformists who march to the beat of their own drummer. But they are very logical and it's here where you'll be able to keep your little Sag in line. Traditional punishments won't work on your child; instead use reason and explanations to help him understand what behaviors are appropriate and what's not ok.

Potty Training Might Be Tough

For these toddlers, potty training could be a mixed bag. On one hand, your child wants to please you, so she will have days when everything goes smoothly. But Sagittarius children can be reckless and restless, qualities which don't bode well for toilet training. Your little Sag doesn't much respond to external motivations either. Use a lot of patience and a gentle nature and eventually you'll get there.

They're Terrible with Money

Enthusiastic and a bit impulsive, Sagittarius is not known to be good with money. Quite the opposite in fact! If there's any hope of your kid being fiscally responsible as an adult, it's essential that you instill in him some responsibility with money as a child. Teach him to save some of his allowance, and be careful about loaning him any extra. When he spends everything he has and still wants more, it's up to you to say no and teach him that next time he needs to budget more carefully.

They're a Little Wild

Sagittarius kids are always playing in the dirt, abandoning a messy room to tackle a more interesting project, or acting out in order to be allowed to try new things. They love to learn, but if it's not something that quickly engages them, all bets are off and they're soon bored and unable to sit still. Seek out as interactive an educational environment as possible, as this is the best way for a Sag to feed his insatiable curiosity.
