Chocolate Milk-and-Honey Balls

Peanut-butter-cup flavor in a protein- and vitamin-packed bonbon

This chocolaty take on classic milk-and-honey balls is a dead ringer for peanut-butter cups. Made with natural, creamy peanut butter and vitamin-enriched Ovaltine, these nibbles will stay on your easy-to-make snack list all year around.

 

Yields 2 dozen bonbons; do not serve to kids under one year

 

¼ cup honey or agave syrup

½ cup peanut butter

1 cup Ovaltine

 

  1. Mix honey, peanut butter, and Ovaltine in a bowl. Knead until ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
  2. Roll teaspoon-size balls in your palms until smooth and shiny. Store on wax-paper covered cookie sheets in fridge.
