Reading to Our BabiesShared by Our365 Moms We asked the Our365 Mom community to send us baby book recommendations. Here are some great picks.- If you and your lap snuggler have a favorite (or two) let us know - just e-mail momtips@our365.com with your child or children's ages and the title. Even better, tell your fellow moms why you and your baby love it. Look, Look! by Peter Linenthal My newborn loved this book - he would just gaze and gaze at the bold black and white pictures and the big, smiling faces. - LenaBaa, La La La! by Sandra BoyntonI am the mother of a 3-month-old son named William, and since he was about 8 weeks old we have been reading Moo, Baa, La La La! at least once a day. William loves the funny animal sound that I make and gets to associate the sound with really fun and simple illustrations. After reading we usually go through the pictures again and it is amazing how he stares at them and you can definitely see recognition. The book is large and sturdy, too, which makes it just more kid friendly. JillI Ain't Gonna Paint No More! by Karen Beaumont My 2-year-old loves the book "Ain't gonna paint no more." Sandi Guess How Much I Love You by Sam McBratney. I read this book to my 4 1/2 month-old daughter every night before bed. Great book!!!!!! TiffanySlinky Malinki by Lynley Dodd and Mallinson RendelHis favorite book to read to my 4-month-old son Ian read is Slinky Malinki. It is a book about a cat that gets into trouble. It rhymes, and my son loves it.
