Recalls Week of 7/23: Baby Move Liquid Supplement, Alex Little Jumpers Trampolines, Peg Perego and Kolkraft strollers
Posted by The Baby News
Kolkraft Contours tandem strollers
The product
Kolkraft Contours Options LT tandem strollers with the model number ZT012. The two-seater strollers have a mesh basket under both seats, and were available in both black with red canopies, and grey with yellow canopies. They were sold at national and online retailers between February and July 2012. For additional information and product images, click here.
What’s up?
The stroller’s front wheel assembly can break, posing a falling hazard to children. On certain models, the nuts that hold the basket support screws in place may also detach, becoming a choking hazard. Consumers are advised to stop using the strollers immediately and contact the company for free replacement wheels and/or replacement nuts, at 1-800-453-7673 or kolkraft.com.
Peg Perego "Venezia" and "Pliko-P3" strollers
The product
Peg Perego “Venezia” and “Pliko-P3” strollers. These older models were manufactured in a variety of colors and sold at retailers nationwide between January 2004 and September 2010. Only strollers with a child tray and one cup holder are involved in this recall – those with a front bumper bar and/or two cup holders are unaffected. For more information, including specific stroller model numbers, click here.
What’s up?
Both the “Venezia” and “Pliko-P3” strollers were manufactured prior to the creation of an industry standard that regulates the size of the opening between the stroller’s tray and seat bottom. As a result, children – especially those under 12 months – who aren’t properly harnessed can become entrapped by the tray and risk strangulation. Consumers should stop using the recalled models immediately and contact Peg Perego (at 1-888-734-6020 or PegPeregoUSA.com) for a free repair kit.
Wellements Baby Move Prune Concentrate

The product
Wellements Baby Move Prune Concentrate liquid dietary supplement. The supplement was packaged in individual glass bottles and sold at national and online retailers from January through July 2012.
What’s up?
Wellements has issued a voluntary recall of their Baby Move Prune Concentrate liquid dietary supplement because one of its ingredients has the potential to be contaminated with salmonella. While no lots of the supplement have tested positive for salmonella, the company is urging parents to return the unused portion for a full refund. For more info, call the company between 8am and 5pm at 800-255-2690 ext. 210 or visit online here.

What’s up?
