The names of country music singers are gaining popularity as the nation gets more exposure to music that paints a picture of family life and small towns. With stars like Taylor Swift, Rascall Flats, Jason Aldean, and The Band Perry pushing out top crossover hits, most people can name a country song that they like even if they aren't fans of the older classics. 

It doesn't hurt that celebs like Joaquin Phoenix, Reese Witherspoon, and Gwyneth Paltrow have emerged on the country stage for the silver screen, giving a little extra star power to the country aesthetic.
